Okay, so normally we still have snow this time of year. Instead we have been enjoying warm 80 degree weather. Trust me, I am not complaining. Ironically though we still have a miniature mound of snow on the front lawn that the big boys were digging in yesterday. Barefoot. Anyways, we jumped at the opportunity to get out all the summer toys this past week, and even enjoyed a day of water play with the hose and sprinkler! Prince M was not too impressed with the water though, because even though the weather is warm the hose water still is not! I quickly saved him from his brothers (OK, maybe I was the one who plopped him into a puddle of water in an effort to get some cute pictures, only to discover that it was ice cold) and set him on his nice dry towel to soak in a little sunshine and vitamin D. The big boys were busy making mud pits on our lawn, and splashing in the kiddie pool. Gotta love days like this. This deployment was beginning to drag me down, so the sunshine came around just in time to cheer me back up. Now I think I have restored enough good spirits to survive another month at least. Come home soon, Hubby!
