Today was Hawaiian Day and Prince K's school. Being the terrible, stressed, exhuasted, short-on-time mom that I am I completely forgot about it. Fortunately for me, someone gave him a lei at school to wear for the day to celebrate. When he came home from school he was so excited to share about his day, and promptly roped his little brother into playing along. So all night long Prince K and Prince L played "tropical vacation," complete with leis and flip flops. Prince L thought it would be more fun to run around in just his underwear, but since it was barely 50 degress out I told him his pants would keep him warmer. Silly boys. The deck was their "pool" and I was the "Grammy." When Prince K wanted to work on something without his brother tagging along he'd hollar to me and ask me to babysit. Such wonderful imaginations!!
On a different note, Prince M got his amber teething necklace in the mail today and I was one excited mommy. I put it on him right away to make sure it fit (ok, and to take pictures). I think the necklace and the mohawk make him look like a little surfer baby! I am anxious to see if the amber really makes a difference or not, but Prince M will look adorable either way.
