Back To School!

Today was the first day back to school for Prince K, and the first day for Prince L to visit his new preschool room. Here is Prince L kissing Prince K goodbye when we dropped him off in his classroom. As you can see, the teacher promptly got the new 1st graders off to work!
Clearly we weren't the only parents who thought driving their kids to school on the first day was a good idea. We had to park way down the road and walk along the property, in wet freshly cut grass, to get into school. You can see that Prince L thought this was a blast as he ran along the fence line!
Prince L loves his new backpack, even if he doesn't really need it for preschool.

Prince K was up bright and early this morning, ready to go to school. I think he will miss his best buddy this year since they are in different classes, but he is such a sweet boy that I know he will make new buddies in his new class this year.

Both boys, smiling and ready to go.

Our Boys

I have no idea what Prince K is doing here, but he was having fun posing for pictures. He is wearing Daddy's t-shirt (something the big boys do when they are missing daddy a lot), and has a beat up old sheriff's hat from the dress up bin on his head. He looks to me like Spider Man, but I think he was pretending he was a spy.
Prince M has been having fun exploring the yard. Now that he can walk he is able to really explore, and discovered the swing set all on his own as well as the joy of tossing balls around.
I have no idea what Prince M is doing here, he's just being a cheese ball. But we love him anyway.

Again, being a cheese ball, Prince M was cracking me up with his "yoga" poses yesterday. His brothers were laughing too and had to join in (you can see Prince K's arm on the right).

Prince L was irritated with Prince M hanging out on his precious 4 wheeler, until I suggested he take his baby brother for a ride. These two drove back and forth across the living room floor for the longest time, giggling away!

Scrub A Dub Dub

...Our babies in the tub! One day they are really going to be mad about all the tub pictures I have of them, especially when I show their girlfriends. But it's a great time to capture some cute pictures because they are contained, and generally very happy.
Prince M loves to play with the faucet, turning the water on and off. He will scream and push his brothers out of the way if he isn't sitting right next to it. I think I should worry about him always getting his way already.

Prince L loves the hulk, probably because he's green. Superheroes are a must in our tub!
Don't you just love those curls?

Prince K wanted me to take multiple pictures of batman (who actually belongs to GiGi). I finally had to tell him I got a great one, and that it was enough. Hehe. That boy will probably be a photographer one day!

Summer Flip Flops

Everyone likes a good pair of sandals, right? ...wrong. Prince M absolutely hates his new flip flops. He actually threw himself on the floor, screaming, until they both fell off his feet. So what did Momma do? Yep, I sat by laughing and taking pictures. You just don't want to forget moments like these!

Time To Run

Yesterday was chilly, not what we had in mind for the last day the local pool was open, but we couldn't let the weather spoil our fun. So we headed out to (another) local playground. We discovered a new skate park that was built at some point during the summer - clearly it's been a long time since we were last there! Anyway, the boys all had fun exploring the new skate park obstacles.
And Prince M enjoyed perfecting his new walking skills.
Once we made it to the actual playground part, the big boys were off and running. Prince K was pretending he was a spy, and apparently spies need to slide down poles like firemen.

Prince L was just running around pretending he was batman, like usual, and happy as can be. He tried playing with several other children there, even though he is typically shy, but kept coming back to play with his big brother. Good thing, because I think his big brother actually missed being followed around!

I did manage to get one quick picture of all 3 boys at the skate park before I lost them to the playground... too bad none of them actually looked at the camera once! Ha!

And here are the videos of our newest walking boy:

Bike Path!

There is nothing better than a long walk on a sunny day. Unless you are Prince K or Prince L, then you must be on your bikes! ... or climbing up huge dirt mountains.
Prince M tested out his new walking skills, but had a hard time keeping up with his big brothers.
Momma tried to hold his hand, to make the process a little faster, but his little legs can only move so fast!

So up into the backpack he went. Honestly, I think he enjoys the view he has of the world from up there!

Prince K was the speediest, calling instructions back at Prince L along the way. The big boys were looking for "clues," pretending the Joker was nearby.

Prince L happily cruised along on his balance bike, which works amazingly well. I laugh every time I see him ride it because his little legs move faster than you could ever imagine!

This was one of the few moments on our walk/ride that the 2 big boys actually rode side by side... usually they are racing in 2 different directions.

Trampoline And A Walk

Time For Some Fun

My little boys have been so good lately (and clearly getting bored with hanging out at home), so I thought a little fun away from home was in order. We packed up this morning and headed out to a local playground for some fun!

Prince K is getting so big, and so matter-of-fact about life in general. He was more worried about keeping an eye on the baby than he was about actually playing this time! Silly boy - he is an old soul for sure.

Prince L was particularly adventurous, climbing and sliding like nobody's business. For some reason he did say he was afraid of hills, but not small hills... whatever. Crazy boy!

Prince M climbed, and crawled faster than I have ever seen him do before. He loved the slides and has no fear! He has discovered that he can climb up the slides too, which is pretty cute to watch.

Uh-huh

Yep, this is exactly what it looks like...
