Prayer For My Husband

Dear Father,

I pray for my husband today, that You may surround him as a shield. May You open my husband’s heart to receive Your wisdom and help him be stable in his ways. I pray that You will give my husband inspiration to do his work and that You will renew his strength. May you surround my husband with protection in every place that he is. And may You bring victory to him in every place his foot treads. May you give him his heart’s desire, and not withhold the request of his lips.

May wisdom enter my husband’s heart and knowledge be pleasant to his soul; may discretion guard him, and understanding watch over him to deliver him from evil. Also unite the spirits of procrastination, complacency and foolishness far from my husband, so that he will not be delayed or diverted from moving ahead with You and our life. May my husband be slow to anger, and not quick tempered. I trust You to guide him, and to help me to submit to his leadership.

Puppy Love

Maybe it's because Brutus was brought in to a home with small children anyway, but I have to say he is the best family dog we could have ever asked for!! I never had to worry about him around the baby. If Prince M is hanging out on the floor, Brutus is very careful to walk around him... and often he'll lay down right next to the baby as if he's protecting him! I caught this photo by chance as I was photographing Prince M with his new favorite blocks. Brutus was walking through the living room but paused to give the baby a sweet kiss on the head. Prince M will see Brutus from across the room and start giggling instantly, and he tries to grab those long whiskers when ever he can. I think these two will grow up to be best of buds, don't you?
