Now, I have decided that boys really have an unfair advantage. I mean, I can't even tell you how many times this weekend I really had to use the restroom but didn't want to hike clear across the campground to use the facilities so I'd hold it. My boys, however, can just find the nearest tree or bush and let it all out. I swear Prince L was peeing in the bushes every time I turned around.Monday, May 31, 2010
This And That
Isn't our pup looking much older and wiser? He was a complete nightmare this past weekend at the campground, but he's learning... at least he stopped barking at all the people and saved his ruckus for the dogs passing by!

Since tomorrow is another school day again, I thought today would be the perfect day to head to the local playground. The boys love to run and explore new places, so we mix it up often and tour many of the local playgrounds throughout the summer months.
Prince M refused to be held, he wanted to get down and explore his world.

We had the best weekend ever (well, maybe not ever, but it sure was fun!), but camping on my own with our 3 angels and our rowdy pup was not really my idea of a relaxing holiday weekend. While I may not ever attempt that again by myself, we did create some wonderful memories and shared lots of laughs. I sure do love our boys, and have no idea how Hubby and I got so lucky...
Camping Pool Time
I think the best part of our entire camping weekend was our pool time. The sun was shining, the pool was heated, and the boys all had a blast. Oh, and Momma got to work on her tan a bit.
Prince M splashed around on the steps for a bit, but eventually wanted to "swim" in the pool with his brothers. I think this baby is our biggest water baby yet.
Prince K was so proud to show off his swimming skills to anyone who would watch. Just look at that toothy grin!

He swims under water now like a fish, it's just an amazing transformation from a few months ago. He even started swimming without his goggles underwater which is a first. I am so proud of that boy!

Prince L has made a lot of progress in a few short months, too. He loves to swim around the pool with his life jacket on... although he only kicks his feet, his hands just kind of hang out in the water.

Big Boys!
Prince K lost his top tooth and is very proud of himself. His tooth fell out while he was munching on his morning yogurt pop, and Prince L found it for him. When Prince L saw the gaping hole in Prince K's mouth he was completely horrified and grossed out. So funny.
Prince M can now pull himself up on furniture and toys, and was practically drooling over the big boys breakfast. So I gave him a few puffs to munch on...

By the looks on these boys faces you would think I dragged them out on the lawn and forced them to ride on the tractor. But don't believe those expressions for a moment, they were having a blast! Even Prince M was giggling as he bounced along in the trailer, pulled by the tractor, safe in his biggest brothers arms. Prince L spent a good hour plodding along in his Grandpa's lap, pretending he was on some kind of mission. Prince K hung back a bit at first, probably a little nervous about the whole thing (he has always been my cautious little soul), but once he finally gave it a shot he asked to do it again! I still think their Grandpa was the happiest out of all of them though, he would do anything to see those boys smile.
