Pumpkins

We did our annual pumpkin patch visit this past weekend with our cousins.  I honestly thought it would be easier than it was, but when we got there the wind was blowing and the kids were both chilly and wild.  Thankfully, my mom volunteered to hang out with Prince N in the store while we took the hayride out to the patch with the bigger boys.
I usually get some pretty cute pictures in the pumpkin patch, but this year it was just too cold.  We were the only ones on the hayride and each boy managed to find their pumpkins within minutes.  I tried to get the big boys together for a cute picture, but Prince M wouldn't have it and kept running off.  Sweet Prince L was ready with a smile though!  Prince K is usually too busy trying to put order to the day to smile on cue.  He's just getting too big!
On our walk back from the hayride to the car, Prince K managed to drop his pumpkin and it smashed to pieces.  He was inconsolable for a while, with lots of tears on his cheeks, but we purchased a replacement in the store that was bigger and better than the first.
Poor Grammy, she held a crying Prince N for the entire time we were gone.  I had to get a picture of him on his first pumpkin adventure though, and Prince L was (as always) more than happy to help.

And while we are on the subject of pumpkins and Halloween type things, I had to post a picture of Prince N in his sweet skeleton pajamas.  He is trying really hard to suck his little thumb, always with his hand open.  It's pretty sweet, and I hope he figures it out!

It's Been A Long Time, Baby

Well, I'm not quite sure where to start.  We sold our house back in May and weren't sure where we were going to go.  Fortunately, my family took us in and we spent the last 5 months living with my parents (bless their souls).  During that time we added baby #4 to our family!  We have since moved into our new house, finally got Internet connection back, and I am ready to start blogging again!  I need the memories documented here because otherwise they will be lost... so here we go!  I plan to blog about this past summer as I can, as well as updating our day-to-day life as close to every day as I can.  Our life is full, and busy, and wonderful...
