Farm Tour

A local farm offered to give free tours of their facility to local military kids. Our boys were so excited at the prospect of seeing cows, something they normally do with their Daddy. Even Prince M was amazed, although he wasn't able to wonder around freely like his big brothers.
The day was unseasonably cold and rainy, but that didn't stop us! The cows were snuggled into the barn, and we trudged around happily admiring each and every one.
Prince L was the most energetic, so excited about the whole thing. He would get as close to the cows as possible and try to wrestle the ones that would stand still enough. He also had fun taking handfuls of their feed and throwing it up into the air, watching it land softly on the poor cows eye lashes.
Prince K was slightly more reserved, probably because there were a couple older girls from his school giving the tour. And I thought he was too young to be shy around the girls?? Fortunately he warmed up by the end of the tour and was smiling right along with his younger brother.
This picture was just too cute not to post, I just love these tiny little mud boots on Prince M! Too bad he's not quite walking yet, it would have been funny to see him toddle around the barn!
