Mother's Day is not always all it's cracked up to be. It is
definitely a holiday that was invented by someone with good intentions but no real vision of reality. I feel very blessed this year though, despite the fact that my husband is deployed. I have the most wonderful boys in the world! Prince K planted some flowers for me at school on Friday that are sitting on the window sill above the kitchen sink.
My Dad bought me a beautiful hand painted bowl in Mexico, and my Mom and
Step dad took me (and the boys) out to dinner.
My wonderful husband made sure to have flowers sent to me on Friday as well, so I have been enjoying them all weekend. Aren't they gorgeous? He is winning brownie points from across the ocean.
